The apartment facility is located on a hill near  Scaleta, 500 meters from the beach and 12 kms East of Rethymnon.
In the bigger neighbouring village of Stavromenos there are 3 supermarkets, a baker's shop, a pharmacy, and a very popular restaurant.
During the season at daytime every 30 minutes public bus service from the beach road to Rethymnon and once per hour to Iraklion (71 kms) and Hania (68 kms).

With respect to the winding character of the motor highway, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
